What to tell us
The more we know, the better the first conversation. Useful details:
- Suburb. Where the property is on the Gold Coast.
- The tree. What kind it is if you know, roughly how tall, and what the problem is: dropping limbs, too big, leaning, dead, storm damaged, in the way of a build.
- What is underneath. House, pool, shed, fence, car, power line.
- Access. Width of the side path, whether there is a back lane, how steep the driveway is on acreage.
- What you want done with the wood. Taken away, or left as firewood or mulch.
- A photo or two. Taken from far enough back to show the whole tree and what is around it.
What happens next
Your enquiry goes to an independent local arborist or tree contractor who works your area. They will contact you to arrange a time to look at the tree. After the visit you receive a written quote. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation to go ahead.
Emergencies
If a tree or branch is on a power line, stay well clear and contact Energex or emergency services. If someone is hurt or in danger, call 000.
