A referral service, not a tree company
Arborist Gold Coast QLD is a referral website. We do not employ climbers or own chippers. When you call or send the form, we pass your job to an independent local arborist or tree contractor who works in your part of the Gold Coast. They visit, look at the tree, give you a written quote, and if you accept, they do the work. Your contract is with them.
We think it is important to say that clearly, because the tree industry is full of websites that sound like one big company and turn out to be something else.
Why the site exists
Finding someone for tree work on the Gold Coast can be harder than it should be. Storm season fills diaries quickly, hinterland jobs need people who are comfortable on steep ground, and it is not always obvious who is going to do the job properly. This site is built to do three things:
- explain tree work on the Gold Coast in plain English, including the rules that can apply;
- give honest planning prices so you know what to expect;
- connect you quickly with a local contractor who can quote on site.
What we ask of the contractors
We ask the contractors we work with to hold the licences and insurance the job needs, to quote in writing after seeing the tree, and to make cuts to proper points rather than topping trees. You are entitled to ask to see a certificate of currency and any relevant licences before work starts, and we encourage you to do so.
Where we cover
The Gold Coast, from the northern estates at Pimpama and Helensvale, through Southport and Robina, to Burleigh Heads and the hinterland at Nerang, Gilston, Advancetown, Tallai and Tallebudgera. Each suburb has its own page explaining local trees, ground and access.
